These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Grapevine, operated by Aster Financial Corp (“Company,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using Grapevine, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You must provide accurate information, including a mobile number you control.
The Service
Grapevine is a location-aware social utility delivered primarily through an iOS app and optional SMS from Grapevine’s business number. Features, availability, and messaging frequency may change during the beta.
SMS program
By opting in to Grapevine SMS in the app, you authorize us to send recurring automated texts about your account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and SMS consent disclosure.
Your responsibilities
- Use Grapevine lawfully and respect others’ privacy;
- Do not harass, spam, or impersonate others;
- Do not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service;
- Honor friend tiers and sharing choices you set.
Location
Grapevine requires location permissions you grant in iOS. You control sharing per friend tier. Location inference is probabilistic and may be wrong; do not rely on Grapevine for safety-critical decisions.
Beta disclaimer
Grapevine is offered as a beta. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of USD $100 or amounts you paid us in the past twelve months (typically zero during beta).
Termination
You may stop using Grapevine at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or risk to users or the Service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where prohibited. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, unless otherwise required by law.
