This Privacy Policy describes how Aster Financial Corp (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Grapevine (the “Service”), including the Grapevine iOS application and related SMS messaging.

Who we are

Grapevine is operated by Aster Financial Corp. Contact: support@grapevineapp.xyz.

Information we collect

• Account information: phone number, display name, and preferences you set in the app (friend tiers, notification settings, adult confirmation).
• Location information: when you grant permission, we collect visit and location data needed to detect arrivals, proximity to friends, and related features described in the app.
• Social graph: friendships, tiers, and interactions you configure with other Grapevine users.
• Messages with Grapevine: SMS and in-app conversational content processed to provide the Service.
• Device diagnostics: limited technical logs needed for reliability and security.

Contact phone numbers that are not Grapevine users are processed on your device for friend discovery; we do not upload your full address book to our servers.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Grapevine;
• Send account-related SMS you opt into (see SMS section below);
• Authenticate you and prevent abuse;
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

SMS / text messaging

If you opt in during onboarding, Grapevine may send recurring automated text messages to the mobile number you provide, including weekly check-ins, friend proximity alerts, and plan-related prompts. Message frequency varies and may be up to a few messages per day depending on your settings and social activity. Message and data rates may apply.

You can reply STOP to opt out of Grapevine SMS at any time, or HELP for help. You may also use in-app controls such as “pause today.”

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent data with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share data only with service providers that help us operate Grapevine (for example, cloud hosting and SMS delivery), under contracts that limit their use to providing services to us.

Retention

During the beta, we may retain visit history, messages, and related data to improve the product unless you delete your account. Account deletion is handled as described in the app and Terms.

Your choices

• Revoke location permission in iOS Settings;
• Adjust friend tiers and sharing per contact;
• Opt out of SMS via STOP or in-app settings;
• Request account deletion by contacting support.

Children

Grapevine is for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new date at the top of this page. Material changes may be communicated through the app or SMS where appropriate.
